David and Meredith celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last spring. 

It is such a joy to see a couple who are both still in love since the day they said "I do". They are an example to us all of what true love and faithful commitment looks like after 25 years of marriage. 

Newly wed love should never fade over the years. God intended it to grow stronger with each day and for two people to live out the example of Christ's love for His children.

I have found how much I really enjoy shooting family portraits over this past year. Being able to capture a family just being a family is something so special! It makes my job even easier when all the kids are grown up enough to be able to smile and pose without me making funny noises and dancing around while trying to snap a good photo like I have to do with the little kids. ;)

The Engelbrechts have been friends of ours ever since my family moved from California back when I was 4 months old. We have grown up with their kids and home schooled together so they are pretty much like family. :)

Fall time is such a perfect time for a photo shoot! The colors were lovely and the day was beautiful!

Summer Danielle: Portraits || chicago, il, portrait photographer

You all might recognize this girl over from Summer Days blog! 

Well she also happens to be my sister. :)

I took theses pictures the same day I took Hannah's back in November. If you haven't already checked out Summer's blog, I highly suggest you go to do that right after you look at her fabulous pictures. ;) Summer is an aspiring fashion designer and blogger. I love having her around to go to with my outfits dilemmas! She is quite the stylist!

She is my best friend and we are dorks together ;)
